National Citizenship and Flag Raising Ceremony in Canberra

In Canberra, the National Citizenship and Flag Raising Ceremony will take place on 26 January at Rond Terrace. This iconic event will be televised live by ABC from 9:00 am, featuring the Hon Anthony Albanese MP, Prime Minister of Australia, presiding over the ceremony. The Governor-General, Her Excellency Ms. Sam Mostyn AC, will lead the Australian Citizenship Affirmation, a moment to reflect on the nation’s unity and shared values.
